I’m thoroughly impressed with my i110n, this little device is a trooper and does an awesome job consistently. We’re still fine tuning the map (and learning about a lot of holes and low spots we didn’t know about in the yard), but so far it’s made several cuts and keeping my yard tamed. Normally my weekly mowing leaves a trail and clumps of dead grass clippings, but since Mr Mowsby has taken control the yard is looking so much better. Most importantly, this frees up my time to do things I normally haven’t (like trimming and edging the yard). I’m already forgetting that he’s scheduled, and find a nice surprise that he’s humming along working away.
I do find that I had to clean out grass from around the blades during my initial cuts while the grass was longer, but now that we’re mowing regularly it’s not an issue.
The Navimow isn’t the fastest device, and doesn’t offer an option to only cut a specific spot, but the GPS and camera system work surprisingly well, and able to wiggle out of most holes and avoid obstacles.
It’s also unbelievable how quiet it is – I have zero concerns cutting at night, it’s practically silent. Rolling my dumpster down the drive makes 3x the noise as this little robot, and sounds nothing like an electric or gas powered mower.
Definitely worth the money, and keeping my yard pretty all week long (instead of just the 2 days after I mow!). Be ready for neighbors to stop and stare, though!
